Long time no see right ? I really wish I had more time for my blog but when did life get so crazy?! So much has changed in my life since I last posted. Long story short: I’m single, subscribing back to my dancing classes, turned 24, moved to a new apartment and am currently in the train on my way to my parent’s home for the weekend.
I actually thought I had everything figured out in my life and at the exact place I wanted it, but it turns out you NEVER know what will come next, like really. My current situation is kinda tough sometimes but it at least taught me one thing, you shouldn’t ever take anything for granted and think things will remain the same forever. Indeed, it prevents you from new experiences and keeps you away from unsuspected perspectives. How comfy is the comfort zone… I’ve probably spent too much time in there and life kicked me out of it so I can go through new things.
So here I am, on a Sunday morning with my friend Swann wearing a pair of beige corduroy bootcut trousers: intricate combo right? but I pulled it out with a turtleneck jumper in a light shade of beige, a pair of black heels (heels are mandatory if you wanna wear bootcut bottoms to me, unless you’re nostalgic of the 2000’s), and the already iconic Emrata bag for The Kooples. I’m not used to wear so many light colors in one outfit, especially in the winter, but I feel like the fabrics heat it all up and it made me feel super elegant.
If I’m not wrong the last time I had worn corduroy was when I was 8 (a bright brown overall dress) and I never though I would get back to this material but you should never say never, especially with trends and trust me, this one is having a come back.
I wish you all the best for this new week ahead and send you the coolest vibes! Bisous.
