The lady on the bridge

I can’t believe how he days go by so fast and how little time I have for the blog since I started working full time. To give you quick updates I have been working for over a month now and I still have to pinch myself sometimes to realize I am not an intern anymore but an actual employee in the company I’ve been dreaming of *pinching myself at the moment*. Living my life at this new pace is thrilling but also very tiring but I’m digging it!

Today I’m getting back to you with this elegant outfit which I sometimes wear at the office (might replace the stilettos with a pair of knee-high boot with a chunkier heel though). I tend to wear almost as many skirts in the fall-winter season as in the spring-summer one since paired with a cosy jumper and a warm coat like this one from Jennyfer. I love how you guys are always surprised by the pieces I own from this brand which used to be out of my radar once I had left high school but it can actually compete with other fast fashion giants like h&m or Stradivarius. Actually, style isn’t a question of what’s on the label but how you twist any given piece so have fun, invest your money wisely and know when to save it!

Back to the outfit, I love that pleated skirt from & Other Stories which I wear anytime I want to look put together for any occasion from work appointments to any family get together. That day I wanted to keep it simple mixing only neutral tones but letting the multiple textures do the work. Another little tip: if you are a short woman like me (or even if you’re tall actually) try to wear skirts/dresses with a slit on your leg, this will elongate your silhouette and give you a sexier walk. As usual you will find below a selection of piece with a wide range of prices to replicate this outfit with your own touch! Bisous.
