Hello September! The end of summer may sound dull to most of you guys but that’s actually my favorite time of the year. I’m not even a big fan of summer since I’ve been doing internships all summer for the past 5 years and basically couldn’t post any tanned-bikinis-swann-floater-beach picture. I also despise the fact that everything stops during that period, I think I just love working and seing that things move on and evolve.
Also I always enjoyed going back to school, feeling the excitement of meeting new people and embracing a fresh start with new goals and experiences to come. Now that I graduated the only thing I aspire to is finding a job really quickly in Paris and finally start to live my own life with my love Eliott. Just to give you quick updates I’m still living in NYC for one more month and I can’t wait to fly back to France! I’m definitely gonna be doing an Instagram Direct with you guys to talk about my 6 months experience here and share my feedbacks, advice, etc.
Moving back to the outfit I’m wearing this very loud wrap dress by Zaful which I’m completely obsessed with. I’ve been wanting a wrap dress for so long since I think it makes you look so feminine without trying too hard and is overall super flattering even though you’re a petite size woman like me. One day I would definitely treat myself with a DVF one since she’s obviously the best at making them and I just can’t get over her amazing prints. I recently read her book « The woman I wanted to be » and it’s been life changing. This woman is beyond inspiring and I learnt a lot from her path which she tells in a honest, dynamic and no-filter way. I totally recommend this book if like me you struggle with self confidence issues and need to start a relationship with yourself.
Despite its bright colors this dress slowly transitions into fall with its long sleeves, thick material and the black accessories I picked. I realized I had never featured this Christian Louboutin black bag I got during sample sales months ago while I actually wear it every other day. I paired it with the comfiest Zara chunky sandals and Zaful shades with tinted lenses. This type of sunglasses have been a big hit this season and I’m sure they’ll be around for a while so don’t hesitate to try that trend out with a cheap pair like mine! I’ll be looking for some more affordable wrap dresses to add to my collection since I deeply fell in love with that shape that usually retails for quite a high price. One more time you’ll find similar options below to replicate my outfit. I hope you guys liked this post and I’d like to read you thoughts in the comments below! bisous.
