There are things in life that never disappoint: Nutella, Ellie Saab collections, holidays sunsets to name a few, and of course the denim + white shirt combo is one of them.

What I love about this combination is that most of us already own the needed pieces (otherwise we need to have a serious talk about your closet construction) and you can feel free to give it any twist you want with all the options offered by both high end and high street brands lately. I personally am so hooked on those patchwork jeans you see everywhere with different hues of bleach and uneven cuts at the bottom. However we’re approaching June and you might want to wear a more summery version of this now famous denim + white shirt combo so here I am today to fulfill your needs and expectations lol. I went for this denim skirt which I had featured before with a more transitional look (to see here) to free my legs from a pair of jeans and expose them to the sun. On top I though the fitted white shirt would be a little too formal while all you fancy for in summer is being free to move and let the air circulate, which is why I opted for an oversize men shirt (my man’s shirt here). I love the contrast between something very feminine and sexy and the bottom with the effortless look of the slouchy men shirt. Once you have this base you can either go crazy with accessorizes or stick to neutral colors like I did since I wanted my new lace-up sandals to catch the attention. Possibilities are endless when it comes to basics so take a chance and have fun!

I’m actually really happy to give life back to my blog as I feel like I haven’t been posting for so long! (Which is kind of the truth). I just had a lot to deal with as you can guess since my life totally changed when I moved in New York, I had been living in Paris for the past 5 years and I basically had everything I knew there. I won’t lie, leaving your comfort zone behind is hard but I’m happy and proud I did. My blogging/Instagraming motivation had a little downturn lately but even though I’m still experiencing the most stressful time of my life I’m back on tracks and looking forward to sharing some more with you! By the way I wanted to thank you all for the great time we had during my Insta Direct the other day, it was so much fun and good vibes I will definitely plan another one so stay tuned! Bisous.
