Back to coats

I can’t believe December is right around the corner with everything that comes with, meaning Christmas, (too much) food, euphoria, warm clothes and all that jazz. I talk about warm clothes since as you may know I’m kind of never cold and put on the same amount of clothes all year long. But it does happen to me to wear coats (that I take off and hold in my hand most of the time) but the thing is that I usually only wear a tank top or t-shirt under it! For that reason I don’t own so many jumpers, mines are more like long sleeves tops, my actual wool/cashmere ones are currently collecting dust in the back of my closet.
I lately bought a beautiful and super warm dark grey jumper at Subdued that I’d like to wear very soon but the truth is it still has the tag on it and will probably wait for cooler temperatures in the upcoming months if we finally get a so-called Winter this year.
Back to the centerpiece of my outfit: the coat, it makes me think of something Anne Hataway could have worn in “The Devil wears Prada” with its clean lines and light color that creates the perfect contrast with the darker shades of the look. I’m not a big fan of coats featuring an already defined shape that enhance your waist, etc, I prefer going for more minimalistic ones that you can accessorize with belts for example. That doesn’t even have buttons which is something I like since I never close my coats anyway. I hope you guys like the fact that I post an outfit every Sunday, let me know if you’d prefer another day or if you’d like me to style a piece in particular. Bisous.
