If you have spent more than 10 minutes on Instagram or Pinterest in your life, your eyes are probably already accustomed to the white top + denim bottom combination. But nothing can beat good classics right?!
I thought until now that the denim mini skirt was a piece trapped in the 90’s along with old school girls bands. However, since the flare jeans are having a come back, why not giving it a chance? After all, they shared the same golden age. When I started seaking for a denim mini skirt, I had to be careful with the material and wash to don’t buy something that would look cheap and tacky. I eventually found that one at Mango while I was in quest of a white pair of jeans. The only size remaining was an extra small in which I managed to tuck my butt (and that was kind of a challenge). It is a bit tight on me but real denim ages well and will adapt to my figure overtime. Its flattering lenght, thick denim material associated with the fact that it was on sale got me buying the skirt! (by the way I couldn’t find a proper white pair of jeans lol).
Regarding the look in itself, I didn’t want to play it first degree with that skirt so high heels and sexy top weren’t on the menue. Instead I paired it with a plain white t-shirt, sneakers and my favorite backpack from Christian Louboutin. That way of tying oversize t-shirts is something I often do this summer. I love how it creates an effortless cropped-top and adds structure to the most boring outfit, that’s a way of saying “yeah, I know cropped-tops are in the public eye but this is how I do”. Bisous.
