Bare foot in the sea, that’s how a day should always start. Even though I love and live in Paris, I am a sea child who can’t spend more than a year away from the ocean. As an aquarius I guess it’s in my DNA and I already know that I wanna spend my old days nearby the sea.
It is such a special feeling for me to edit this post cause the pictures were shot in Bretagne a French region bordered by the Atlantic ocean where I used to go on holidays every year in my childhood. I hadn’t came back there for 10 years and I actually thought I’d never have the chance to see it again. So when my parents told me they’d spend a few days in Concarneau and offered my sister and I to come along, I overflowed with joy and emotions. There is something mystical about that place, an atmosphere that gives deepness to every moment. We stayed in a little house nearby the sea, ate local seafood and walked in the old town that you can access only by ship. We also went to the beach, more to tan than swim since the water is quite cold but you know me, it didn’t stop me. We shot that one piece outfit on the beach we always go. Well, I say beach but we actually always preferred throwing our towels on those giant granit stones rather than on the sand. That’s why it was so important for me to shoot in this location, kinda like a tribute to the beautiful place that saw me growing up and witnessed memorable family moments. How pleasant it was to throw this maxi dress on without having to assemble an outfit with shoes, bag, etc. Dressing for beach life is so easy and cool, that’s typically the style I’d like to stick to forever with a closet featuring only dresses, shorts and crochet tops! Bisous.
