The Hair Issue

Hi there! Today I’m back with the highly requested post about how I take care of my hair. First of all I wanted to thank you all about the sweet comments you keep on posting on Instagram about my hair style! I’m not used to talk beauty on the blog so I don’t really know where to start but let’s jump into it: I’ve got European wavy brown long hair that I never dyed but cut the ends every 6 months.

Since I workout almost every day I have to wash my hair very often which is not the best thing to do but I basically don’t have the choice. To offset the relentless agressions of water, pollution and hair clips I used very moisturising products.
I lately discovered a professional line of hair products called R System and I use the Nutri Fusion range with shampoo, mask and serum. Until now I had never really paid attention to the type of products I was using to treat my hair but since I used this brand I must admit taht I see (and feel) the difference as my hair is way softer.

My second beauty tip is to use broccoli seed oil on wet hair to make it shine and redefine the curls. To this end you must mix 5 pumps of aloe vera jelly with 10 drops of broccoli seed oil and apply it on the lenghts of your hair. This is something that my friends with afro hair adviced me and the results are stunning.

You may have seen that I let my hair in its natural state lately but when I want to straight it I use nothing else but my Steampod by L’Oréal straighter. I splurged on it about 4 years ago and it’s one of my best investments ever. Indeed, it doesn’t burn my hair since it works with steam and make it shine! I am so convinced by this device that 2 friends of mine already bought one after they saw the result on my hair.

I’m affraid we reached the end of my hair care routine Babes. It may seem quite short but that’s actually all I do. The thing is that hair just like nails is a matter of genetic and even though we can work a bit on it, the nature of your hair is something you can’t drastically change. So my advice would be to embrace what life gave you and cope with it thanks to the right hair cut and color!
If you wanna buy the products I use, here are some links:

I hope you found this post helpful despite the fact that I’m less than a pro. If you have any question or request don’t hesitate to let me know since I always reply every comment. See you very soon Babes! Bisous.
