Keep it simple

laparvenue fashion blog paris raphaelle leboeuf tammy and benjamin4The coolness of the blue jeans + white shirt combo is of public matter since approximately always and doesn’t need to be proved anymore. I myself already posted several outfits featuring this combination but I always intent to twist it a little bit with carefully chosen accessories.

Here I decided to climb on sky high nude heels to elongate the silhouette and balance it with a man shirt (it’s actually my father’s one form the French Air Force). People may find that there’s nothing groundbreaking about that look and they’d be right. Of course fashion bloggers are aimed to be daring with trends to stand out but I don’t think it compulsory involves wearing out of this world pieces all the time. I think that a good fashion blogger must be able to make the difference between style and fashion repurposing good old basics to create a great outfit. My closet is filled with basics that are perfect basis for any style I feel like wearing according to my plans and mood of the day. I sometimes go for statement pieces but only if they can be worn with at least 2 pieces I already own. That day I let that cute olive bag and my heels height set the tone to the outfit that seems to be appropriate business material. The final touch to the outfit is undoubtedly the fur charm on my bag that offset the general graphic structure of the outfit and add motion when you walk. Now I realize I posted 2 men shirt outfits in a row, sorry about that Babes, I swear I’ll be wearing gender-appropriate clothes next time! Bisous.
