For the first time ever I’m posting a beauty type article. Style is something I always felt comfortable with, but when it comes to beauty, I’m more like the girl who chooses products according to the fame of the brand or the cuteness of the packaging! One of my 2016 resolutions was to take better care of skin and body in general which encompases paying more attention to the beauty products I use.
Since then I changed my face and hair care routine, but there is one thing I didn’t think I would spend time on so soon, it’s my tan. When I received an e-mail from the Vita Liberata team asking me if I’d be interested in trying their products I almost immediately replied no but after a second thought I realized it was the occasion for me to discover something new and maybe change my mind about tanning products. Cause let’s be honest: the first thing that come to my mind when I think of tanning products is the stereotype of that ratchet girl living on the French Riviera and looking like a carott. In case you want to learn some useful vocabulary, the French word for that is “Cagole” lol. Anyway, after looking more carefully at the concept of this luxury brand and the components of their products I figured out that they don’t use any carotèn (that thing that makes you look orange like a cooked shrimp) and 80% of the ingredients are natural. I picked up the tanning foam and oil for a start.
The foam has to be applied in circular movements thanks to the dedicated mitt 3 days in a row and you’re good for 3 weeks of tanned body. The product dries in one minute and you can put your clothes on right after (even a white dress).
As far as the oil is concerned, it’s a 3 in 1 product that you apply the same way and acts like a sun cream since it protects from sun rays and also keeps you tanned.
Regarding the results I’m really satisfiedand didn’t expect such a natural look on my vampire skin. I always wore skirts and dresses all year long no matter the season (as you probably noticed if you’re following me on social media) and never cared about having white legs but a little tan never hurts. As you can guess I recommend the Vita Liberata products that you can find only at Sephora and luxury SPAs like the Four Seasons, the Ritz Carlton, etc.
That’s it for this post, I hope you liked it and found it interesting cause another one is coming soon about my hair care routine (and I can tell from your comments on Instagram that it’s something you’re eager to be talked about!). Bisous.
