2016 barely started for a months and it seems like I’ve done more in three weeks than in a year when I look at the scribbled pages of my diary. I’m having pretty hectic time these days and won’t complain about that. It’s good to go through changes in our lives reevaluating what we have and take a step back to see what our priorities are. The fact that my sister and I found an appartment to live together is definitely the game changer and such a relief for me since Paris real estate is a challenging mess. In addition, my internship at Christian Louboutin is reaching its end on Monday, I can’t believe how fast time flies! I’m gonna miss my team and the lifestyle attached so much, even more because the perspective of going back to school is way less thrilling. The only silver lining is that I’ll have more free time to focus on my blog and already have tons of outfits and lifestyle posts planned in my mind for you guys!
Because I must admit that my blog became a major matter in my life overtime, it takes time and energy but brings me so much more in return: I met some of my close friends through the blog, it taught me how to love myself in the healthiest way and it leads me to always more creativity, experiences and unique moments that I share with you the best I can.
I posted a picture of this outfit as a preview on my Instagram and got some great feedbacks about the cape! You can’t have missed that this piece is having a moment this season, it’s typically the kind of clothes that suits any bodytype and is downright alluring even though you’re wearing laidback jeans and sneakers. I even saw an old lady wearing a cape in the metro the other day and thought “Damn girl, you nailed it!”.
I had already featured this grey cape on the blog but you can style it in so many different ways that it can’t hurt. I got it in my Mom’s closet (probably her only grey piece among tons of pastels) and also wear it sometimes as a chuncky scarf to keep me warm when I only have a jacket on.
I love it so much That I decided to replicate it in a crochet version that I’m currently working on. It’s a time-consuming activity but I always find a way to free a few hours here and there and I’m almost done now (just on time for the freezing temperatures we’re going through lately in Paris).
Back to the look I was wearing black jeans and jumper as a neutral background to let the cape and accessories pop. No need to tell you how crazy I am about these booties and their golden detail on the toe-point, paired with my dark green tote bag. You guys know my addiction to boho fashion but it’s kinda hard to put in practice when it’s cold outside since that style implies light fabrics, body freedom and definitely not being wrapped in tons of thick and heavy clothes. However I can’t help figuring something boho out if this look that makes me chose capes over jackets this season! Take care and see you in a next post! Bisous.
