I sincerly wish you all a super-over-happy New Year Babes! I hope it’s gonna bring you everything you want and work for! 2015 has been beyond enriching for me and before embracing this new year I wanted to take a step back to overview what happened and what we achieved. Cause yes, it’s not only about me, we’re all in it together so I want to thank you guys for your support, sweet comments and likes all year long. It’s been almost a year that I started posting pictures of my outfits and life moments on my blog and you gave me the impulse and confidence I needed to do so! We’re not a huge community but be sure that I got every good vibe you sent me and it makes me wanna work even more! I’ve met incredible people this year through events, collaborations, trips and even coffees with long time followers.
I got to travel to breathtaking countries during summertime that changed the way I look at things. My style changed too (for the best I hope) and I feel free to experiment and wear wathever I want no matter what people or figures may say. To sum it up let’s say that 2015 was a major year for me and the start of an exciting adventure with you by my sides at every moment!
Now let’s focus on what really matters: the future! You don’t need to wait January the 1st to take a fresh start but for some reasons we love the idea of starting everything over on that particular day. So let’s take a deep breath and look at 2016 as a precious gift, a chance to achieve projects, to reach goals and to be the best person we can be with people around and above all with ourselves! I never saw selfishness as a flaw and think on the contrary that it’s a compulsory ingredient of a balanced life when reasonably quantified. Don’t hesitate to write a list of thing you want to do to improve your well-being this year and make it part of your daily routine. In my case it’s gonna be about eating healthier, improving my English, studying Spanish anew, keeping dancing every day, taking better care of my skin/ nails, etc. Regarding the bigger changes in my life, there is something I’ve been keeping secret for the past months but now that’s it’s confirmed I can tell you: my sister is gonna come to Paris and we’re moving in together in January! I can’t express how thrilled and excited I am about living, shooting, Snapchatting, laughing, arguing and enjoying life with her, stay tuned on my social medias for updates! I’m also planning on organizing an event with some other fashion bloggers to sell some of our clothes and I’d like to travel through Europe to discover countries that aren’t that far from Paris and have a lot to offer!
Back to the outfit, I was wearing a beautiful dress that makes me think of Olivia Palermo’s one that I saw on Pinterest the other day (well, she obviously hadn’t got hers at Forever 21 but who cares?!). I paired it with those gorgeous Christian Louboutin heels that I got as a perk for working late during Paris Fashion Week. This silhouette is a first for me on the blog and I thought it would be perfect to start the year in a vivid and bold way!
We’ve all been through blessed and hard times in the past 12 months. We should keep only the best, leave the rest behind, we all have the incentives to make 2016 a hundred times better than 2015 as long as we have faith in what make us happy, fearless and good to people! Tell me what are your goals for this new year so we can all get enthusiastic about the great things to come! Bisous.
