I have been wanting to shoot this twin set since the day I started my blog but had never dared to wear it in the street for god knows what reason (and you guys know how important this is for me to post outfits I actually wear in my daily life). But now that I feel more confident about my style (among other things) I thought it was time to pin it on my blog.
This set doesn’t look like anything in my wardrobe combining high waist, damier pattern and Peter Pan collar. I must have bought it one of those days when we feel sartorial venturing and in need of novelty. I could have added a splash of color, which was my first idea, but I wanted the set to remain the centerpiece of the outfit thanks to its hypnotic print. On the way back home an old lady came to me asking where she could buy the same since it reminded her of what she used to wear when she was my age! She was utterly adorable and made me feel like a 50’s movie character (minus the ladylike pumps and little mesh veil). I haven’t been posting a lot lately due to hectic schedule but hope this outfit was worth waiting! Bisous.
