laparvenue Paris Fashion blog raphaelle leboeufI spent last week-end at my parent’s place in the North-East of France where fresh air and natural landscapes are all around. Even though I belong to Paris more than ever, it’s always pleasant to come back to the place I grew up to reconnect with my roots and enjoy famility time. It was also an occasion to take advantage of the nice places there like this stud farm in my tiny village. By serendipity my outfit was perfectly matching the leaves and wooden doors surrounding us in a lovely camaïeu of fall colors.

I have to say I’m utterly obsessed with this vintage suede jacket found (and stolen) in my Mom’s closet. We often hear fashion figures and bloggers talking about their mother as their first style inspiration. This is not something I would say. My Mom is an amazingly strong and smart woman that I admire on countless points but being fashionable has never been her constant priority. She knows how to match colors and shapes together but has a kind of first-degree understanding of what is fashion about which we always disagreed on. However, I always ask for her opinion afterwards when I post an new outfit on my blog and by the time she got used to my black clothing addiction (be sure that it was a long way to go for someone who only wears colors like her). Mom if you stop by, and I know you will, Je t’aime! (Now babes, grab you phone and call/text your mother to tell her the same!). Bisous.
