Sisters taking over Paris

Hello you all! I’m  so glad to be back after the past hectic Fashion Week days with what I’ll call a “Lifestyle post” talking about the lovelyness of a day with my little sister in Paris last week-end. You guys may know now how important Elodie is in my life so I thought it would be a good way to add a dash of her here. Lifestyle posts haven’t been my priority on the blog lately but I remember having had some really good feedbacks regarding the one I had posted last winter so I’ll probably go for some more frequently. By the way it allows me to embrace my photography hobby taking pictures (meaning being on the other side of the camera for onces), talk about my pieces/brands of the moment, take you to places I like, and share more than my sartorial tastes.

Let’s face it: I’m definitely not a beauty addict and basically think that products are all the same. But I also know that if I want to preserve my “youngness/beauty capital” I have to take actions now. So I took my sister to LUSH and we got a few things like Fresh Farmacy facial care, Gratte Ciel body scrub, etc… I’ve decided to learn more about beauty products so I plan to try several brands like Khiel’s, Aesop, Rituals, let me know if you can advice some!

I usually never have snacks during the day but when I’m with Elodie, this is more than a compulsory step! I took her to La Bague de Kenza in the 1st arrondissement to grab Algerian pastries. This place is so unique, everything is home-made and the display is both sleek and cute.

It’s a miracle that my Iphone is still alive since It has spent the past 4 months without a case. I couldn’t find one I’d like anywhere (ok, I haven’t been searching earnestly…) so I decided to design my own. There are plenty of website to do this but I was looking for a reliable one with value for money products. That’s how I came accross Go Customized which is one I recommend you if you’re a control freak like me. I designed the picture I wanted on my Iphone via Photoshop, uploaded it on the site and here is the result: I noted down a list of the things that take part in my happiness, my values and beliefs. We should never lose sight of what we are made of and I thought it would be a nice what to do so and spread good vibes (I see when people in the metro can’t help reading what’s on lol). I already got many compliments about it and can really claim that my Iphone is protected thanks to my (almost) bulletproof case. If you want to create yours I give you a link right here! Yes, I made a mistake writing “honNesty” but this kind of imperfection is completely me rigth?!laparvenue fashion blog paris raphaelle leboeuflaparvenue fashion blog paris raphaelle leboeuflaparvenue fashion blog paris raphaelle leboeuflaparvenue fashion blog paris raphaelle leboeuflaparvenue fashion blog paris raphaelle leboeuflaparvenue fashion blog paris raphaelle leboeuf

The now famous Café Kitsuné doesn’t need to be introduced anymore but I love stopping by this spot and since it was a first time there for my sister I enjoyed it even more. The weather was so nice (for fall I mean) that we sat down at a table under the trees, watched leaves falling from them and gossiped about bystanders. We had some very cliché lattes with heart design on top and of course took billions of pictures, so Instagramable!laparvenue fashion blog paris raphaelle leboeuf

This post-Fashion-Week weekend was not as laid-back as I thought it would be but I definitely recharged my batteries by spending good time with Elodie in Paris and enjoying the sweetness of life. I hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know if you’d like similar ones and see you soon! Bisous.

  1. Walking through les jardins du Palais Royal is really the best, and your pictures beautifully capture the autumn vibes and colours! For skincare I would definitely recommand Aesop for body lotions and Kiehl’s for face, their avocado eye cream is a must! bisous ;)
