90’s Child

Don’t know why it feels so good to belong to the cool team of kids born in the 90’s listening to Kris Kross in the cradle. But it’s true that I love the idea of being from the previous millennium like a good bottle of wine (sorry I’m French and so are my metaphors). Well, actually I have much more memories from the 2000 years since I was born in 1994 but I guess it must have influenced my tastes since I don’t hide my appreciation for platform shoes, body shaping dresses, plaid shirts, backpacks and mom jeans. This decade was obviously significant in the definition of my fashion tastes, regardless from hairstyles of that time of course (seriously, the Spice Girls’ hair-dresser must still be in jail at the time being).

It’s after losing myself on random articles on the internet that I came across one about things you must remember if you’re a 90’s kid like watching “Hey Arnold” on TV, owning a Koosh Ball and witnessing the marketing of the first DVD’s. This little flashback made me wanna pay tribute to that decade through this outfit, comfy and sexy at the same time (best combination ever!). We shot at La Defense, Paris’ business district, in a graphic and urban location on a way too sunny morning which explains my frowning face on the pictures. I hope you enjoyed this dash of nostalgia and see you soon! Bisous.
