Hola! I’m back from Ibiza and as you can guess I took many many pictures during my stay there. I know I already posted a lot on my Instagram and Snapchat but have even more to show you today! So let’s start from the beginning: I was travelling with Katia, Kenza and Sonia for a girls-only trip filled with parties, beautiful people, famous DJs, beaches, sun and laughs at every second. We were staying at Apartementos Lido perfectly located on the seaside, near from clubs and beautiful beaches. At the precise moment we landed, we didn’t know how great and surprising this week would be!
The first evening we headed to Ushuaïa to see Avicii and I don’t lie when I say that it was one of the best experiences I lived so far! I’m a big fan of this DJ and the open air venue, the sound, the energy, atmosphere and the planes flying over ou heads every 5 minutes made it utterly magical. I couldn’t explain how deeply alive I felt that night, it was unreal to realize how well my path had turned out in only one year after all the difficulties I went through. Now I got the proof that giving up should never be an option. If you’re going to Ibiza, Ushuaïa should be on top of your to-do list!
When sorting through the pictures I realized that we had our hands up on most of them which is guess is a reliable indicator of how much fun we were having. The sea was so warm, we sunbathed listening to music and for my greatest pleasure we had big waves on the last 2 days!
You guys know how much my sister and I love each other so seeing her in Ibiza was the cherry on top! She managed to make room in her intership timetable to spend so time with us and we even visited her on the other side of the island to watch what is said to be one of the most beautiful sunset in the world. Indeed, in San Antonio, you’ve got a place called Cafe Del Mar where you can seat, have a drink and watch a breathtaking view. The best moment? When the sun finally disapears, the music stops, people stand up and applause this natural spectacle!
We also went to a heavenly island called Formentera by boat. It was a way for us to chill and see Ibiza from a different perspective. This place was everything you can imagine about a balearic island: white sand, crystal clear water, stunning yachts and peacefull landscapes.
The last evening, we went to Pacha Club to see David Guetta’s F*** Me I’m Famous party. The location and its decoration were amazing and we had much fun until 6:00 am. When it was time to go to bed, Katia and I decided to end this crazy night watching the sunrise on the beach of our hotel. That morning was out of time and it was certainly the best way to end this trip.
Ibiza will remain a beautifull memory, a sweet escape I shared with my girls that I’ll be happy to remember in years as something I did when I was young and carefree. A week was definitely not enough to fully appreciate the richness of the island so I may come back one day to focus on the hinterland and more typical places. I hope you enjoyed this post and that I managed to make you travel a little thanks to these shots! Bisous.
