Brazilian Silhouette

There are moments in your life when you see yourself growing up and the day I put on this Gig  Couture dress was definitely one of them. The flattering fit immediately made me stand straighter than usual, my walk was different and I even got compliments from several women on our way to the shoot location. I usually can’t help adding masculine touches in my outfits but for once this uncontrolled tendency was far from me. This amazing modern-princess’ dress gave me enough confidence to be all in a ladylike outfit without feeling uncomfortable or overdressed.

I accessorized the dress with this orange clutch that emphasized its graphic print. You may not see it on the pictures but the dress is made out of knit, hand-made in Belo Horizonte since Gig Couture is a Brazilian brand that is even part of the line-up of São Paulo Fashion Week. The designers were in Paris this week and I had the tremendous pleasure to meet them for an interview at IC Communications showroom. The post will be on the blog very soon and I’m sure you’ll understand why I’m so enthusiast about this brand! Bisous.
