Winter Fringes

Yes I did it, the so cliché pictures of me holding a baguette which appeared like a compulsory step for my blog. People who know me well will tell you that I always had a thing with bread (I mean, more than a kind of french cultural standard). I can eat an entire one for breakfast and two more by the course of the day when I’m hungry or depressed (better that alcohol right?). Bread occupies a major place in my nutrition and  for those who claim that it makes you fat, I’ll retort that they’d better go for it rather than pouncing on candies and industrial sodas!

Let’s close the chapter about bread religion to focus back on the outfit. I’m getting more and more into monochrome and neutral tones (50 Shades of Grey effect?!) but I thought those burgundy pumps would warm up the look. I bought them about two years ago in London and never wore them for an inexplicable reason. Since the temperatures weren’t as icy as usual I jumped on the occasion to only put on a jacket and my beloved grey fringed cape. I picked it up from my mother’s closet and borrowed it for an indefinite period since she never wears it! Fringes are certainly the design I love the most no matter what the season is. By the way I let you imagine how much I love this warm and eye-catching piece in which I’ve literally been living this winter. Now I have to go because it’s lunch time and a baguette awaits me! Take care babes. Bisous.
