Two weeks after my back to school I’m already overwhelmed by a huge amout of homework. Since I only have 4 school days per week I have a lot to do at home which means I also have a lot of distractions to avoid. Today I wanted to share a few lovely pictures and by the way talk about my study time routine. I used to be the no-life-but-school girl of the class before but now I try to take it easier and focus on more important things (not that school and studies are meanless but I just think that some other aspects of our lives play a key role and are not taught at school).
When I know I’ll have to spend several hours studying at home I start by emptying my mind of any negative thoughts and just try to take it like intensive but peaceful time for myself. Then I pour a cup of tea or whatever I feel like drinking and slice some fresh fruits to eat between two tasks (as fruits are neither salty nor too sweet you won’t be addicted and won’t gobble them all down). Deep silence anguishes me so I always put on some down volume music (I suggest you to go for songs of which you don’t know the lyrics, otherwise you’ll end up singing and dancing all time long, am I the only one doing that?!), light my favorite scent candles to create a warm and cosy cocoon and wrap in my heavenly soft COS cashmere scarf. Once I’m done with all this setting, immersing me into work isn’t that tough, even less when I allow myself a 10 minutes Instagram break each hour!
I hope you liked the pictures and that my little advices will help you on motivationless studying moments or more generally when you have to focus on something that heavily bores you. Bisous.
